Our next gig is this Saturday afternoon, the 8th June 2019 at the Anchor and Hope Pub, 15 High Hill Ferry, E5 9HG. We’ll be there from 16:00 to 19:00 +. We’ll be scattering joy and bringing you wild dancing and singing. We are bringing new songs and old, from east and west and up the road. Here’s the event page.

Saturday 29 June 2019 we are performing at Tower Hamlets Cemetery ParkSummer Fair 2019 E3 4PX , from 12 midday to 5pm. Come and visit this beautiful urban wild space, there’s live music and dance, cakes and lots of other stalls. Free. Read about THCP in this recent piece in The Guardian

Hackney based Shkembe Soup return to MostArt Centre with beautiful performance favs and new songs and dance plucked from places near and far. Our band weave drums, violin, guitar, flute, mandolin, voice and dance to soulful ballads and wild rhythms. The music, dancers and the flamboyant characters you meet will charm you as stories are told. We are 11 musicians, dancers and singers with loving souls who strum, pluck, beat and whirl.
