Hackney based Shkembe Soup return to MostArt Centre with beautiful performance favs and new songs and dance plucked from places near and far. Our band weave drums, violin, guitar, flute, mandolin, voice and dance to soulful ballads and wild rhythms. The music, dancers and the flamboyant characters you meet will charm you as stories are told. We are 11 musicians, dancers and singers with loving souls who strum, pluck, beat and whirl.

Right now, we are organising further performances at MostArt Centre, Stoke Newington, Tower Bridge on the 21st May, the Great Gathering canal festival on the 17th June 2017 and a Bandstand Performance at Victoria Park, East London as part of the LGBT Pride Picnic on the 2nd July 2017.
